Thank Goodness for the Internet ! There are many valuable tools and resources that are available to assist in research
of family history on the internet.
Much of my research has been done online, however I did travel to Sweden and that is
actually where I found the first true links to our past.
Here are a few websites that I utilized in my research !
Some friendly advice:
Never give up ! You will hit brickwalls, roadblocks and come across numerous dead ends. But be persistant
in your research. Use multiple search tools.

Research Tips
My advice for doing genealogy research !
Be sure to evaluate the source of your information. Remember, you can't
believe everything you read!
Remember, most everyone has two family names: your father's, but also your mother's. Don't
feel you must restrict your research to just your paternal family tree. I only worked on my fathers tree because my
mothers tree had been researched and published by my maternal grandmother - Billie Barrett Russell
